amber, elopement photographer

Hi there! My name is Amber. I’m a glorified introvert who’s fond of nature and adventure. My love for nature and travel naturally gave way to what I love the most: capturing lovebirds as they get the love and bliss that they deserve.

I’m particularly passionate about elopements. I love that it’s a ‘you’ moment. That you’re away from the pressure of hiring a ginormous ballroom or entertaining over 100 guests. You don’t even have to worry about any decor! It’s your big day, and it’s all about you and your better half.

Apart from being a remarkable photographer, I’m also a certified travel consultant. I’ve been to over 43 countries and have been part of the journey for hundreds of lovebirds.

Having been to Sweden’s meadows, New Zealand’s crystal blue lakes, and the pinnacle of the Swiss Alps, I can say without a doubt that the Philippines is a great choice. To this day, it still holds a special place in my heart. Let’s get into it!

Have you discovered my ultimate guide to elope in the Philippines yet?

Common questions about my elopement packages in the Philippines

Visit my guide to elope in the Philippines on my website to get some excellent ideas for your dream elopement.

I can literally count the number of couples who’ve not brought this up because everyone feels a little awkward in front of a camera. Yes, Amber included. That said, you don’t need to worry, my work can speak for itself because nearly everyone felt nervous before we started. I’ll ease you up and make you feel comfortable, no matter your personality. That way, you can be in your element and relax. One way to do this is to imagine that I’m completely out of the picture.

By being unobtrusive, the two of you remain engaged and present in the moments of your elopement and the photographs speak for themselves!

That is an excellent question. I am unable to be flexible with dates due to weather because of the nature of my job. The good news is that I am one of those people that embraces whatever the day has in store for us, and my greatest advice to you is to do the same.

The success of your wedding isn’t contingent on a flawless sunset; it is contingent on the two of you enjoying your day, loving one another, and living happily ever after. You just need to be in the moment, whether rain or shine. And if I’m completely honest, I enjoy the rain because it makes for some fantastic photographs.

Both! Especially if your amazing setting is beneath a blanket of stars! On that note, you’ve got to put Philippines magical nights in your list of photos!

Yes! I realize this phase can be stressful, so let me take care of it so you can concentrate on the fun stuff! Not only will you receive a detailed guide to assist you, but you will also receive personalized advice suited to your specific needs.

Most of my couples opt for a “Just us” event with no guests, but if having your closest loved ones with you is vital to you, I wholeheartedly encourage it! I am available for elopements with up to 20 people.

I’m a firm believer in the adage that “equipment does not make the photographer.” But, let’s be honest, it’s crucial. That’s why I shoot with professional gear including two Nikon D800 bodies, premium lenses, and a Mavic Air 2 drone for some unique angles!

Different states have different legal procedures for marrying. Some are minor annoyances, while others can be quite confusing. That’s why I advocate for taking care of the paperwork at home.

It’s the easiest alternative. Remember, paperwork is just that – it’s paperwork. Your marriage isn’t determined by a piece of paper, it’s all about the day you say your vows to the person you love. Don’t get hung up on minor details.

Yes. One of my favorite parts is helping couples find their perfect spot. That said, I spend hours researching fantastic and remote locations, scanning google maps, and visiting hidden areas.

In fact, many of the couples I work with normally have no idea where they want to get married at. Luckily, once you’ve booked with me, I’ll more than willing to provide all of the location ideas I have with you to assist you in selecting a place that’s ideal for you and your narrative.

Yes. I am a seasoned traveler who is continuously plotting my own trips to new destinations and countries. For this, I have guidebooks, online resources, and Google Earth to pick a location that is great for your adventurous day.

I’m also a member of a few international wedding vendor networks, so I can assist you in finding other fantastic artists such as hair and makeup, flowers, officiants, and any other vendors you may require.

I’ve organized dozens of weddings from afar and am confident in my ability to design an elopement in a new location that’s just as beautiful as one I’ve photographed many times.

Everything seems to be in flux right now, but I’ll do my best to ensure that photography isn’t one of the things that add to your anxiety. Deposits are non-refundable in general, but I will try my best to be flexible and work out a win-win situation so that you may still have a wonderful elopement day.

With a year of handling covid-related issues under my belt, I’m confident that we’ll be able to find a solution that works for everyone, whether it’s postponing, restructuring, putting the deposit toward a portrait session; or anything in between!

Because my travel schedule and pricing structure are always changing, I rarely book weddings and elopements more than 18 months in advance. I usually book elopements two to twelve months in advance.

I like to make room in my schedule for last-minute elopements, so reach out even if you’re intending to elope in the coming weeks! I may have a spot available specifically for you.

This varies depending on the session and time, but larger weddings might have anywhere from 400 to 800 photographs while elopements can have anything from 200 to 400 photos.

Couples’ sessions are usually around 100 minutes long. I have to mention that I value quality above quantity, and my goal is to provide you with the finest of the best images from your special day.

Your images will be delivered through an online gallery where you may order high-quality prints and frames from one of my affiliated labs. To ensure that your images print accurately and beautifully, I normally recommend these galleries where I test my prints and colors on the printers in my lab.

I also sell heirloom albums that are archival. Please send me an email if you have any questions about albums. Note that you are not obligated to print through me if you have a preferred local lab. You have complete control over your personal printing rights!

Still have questions? I have answers!
