Your photographer is introduced before booking, so you know who will be there with you. The aim is for the camera to become an afterthought, not another thing you have to get right.

Amber builds alternative locations and flexible timing into your itinerary. On Ember, your photographer can adjust the route during your guided day. Dragon and Fanal each have three accompanied photography days, allowing more flexibility within that window.

Fog or drizzle can become part of the atmosphere. Unsafe conditions mean changing the plan, with your comfort and safety coming first. Fanal’s four independent self-drive days are separate from the photography coverage.

Yes. Madeira has very dark skies once you get away from the coast, and a night session on a volcanic ridge under the stars is one of the more extraordinary things you can do here. If you want it, we build it into the timeline.

Amber handles your location research, route, timing, permit planning, and pre-trip preparation. Your photographer handles guiding, photography, and the planned transport on your accompanied days.

Fanal includes a symbolic ceremony officiant, bouquet, boutonniere, and ceremony-day hair and makeup, with the arrangements coordinated for you. Ember and Dragon can include those services as separately quoted additions. If you prefer to book your own suppliers, we agree the coordination details in your proposal.

Up to twenty guests, with just the two of you equally welcome. Guest numbers do not change the photography price. Tell us who you would like to bring so Amber can plan suitable locations and timings.

The listed collections cover the couple. The accommodation included with Dragon or Fanal is for two people sharing a room. Guest accommodation, meals, and any additional transport or supplier arrangements are separate and confirmed in the proposal.

Equipment varies by photographer. Your collection confirms who will photograph your elopement, and you can explore their portfolio before booking. If a particular kind of image matters to you, tell us during planning so we can discuss what is possible.

Drone photographs depend on the photographer’s equipment, permissions, location, and weather. They are not guaranteed as part of every collection.

Ember usually delivers between 200 and 400 edited images. Dragon and Fanal each include three days of photography, typically delivering between 400 and 800 images. Fanal’s four independent honeymoon days have no photographer accompanying you.

Every collection includes a private edited gallery, slideshow, and accordion album. The emphasis is on the moments that tell your story, rather than a fixed image count.

An accordion album is included in every package and ships to your home. Your gallery also links directly to print and framing options through labs I have used for years, colour-calibrated to my editing so what arrives looks like what you saw.

You are free to print anywhere you like. The goal is that these images end up on a wall, not just on a hard drive.

Portugal allows foreign couples to marry legally, though the paperwork takes planning and the ceremony has to happen in an authorised setting. Many of my couples handle the legal signature at home and hold a symbolic ceremony on the cliff, which gives you total freedom over the location. I will walk you through both options on our first call.

Amber researches your locations, personally creates your itinerary, and remains your planning contact. Most elopements are photographed and guided by Danielle, Deborah or Julie. With The Amber Collection, Amber photographs and guides your accompanied days herself. Your photographer is introduced and confirmed before booking, subject to availability.

The listed inclusions are the same within each duration. The difference is who photographs and guides you: your confirmed partner photographer, or Amber herself. Every itinerary is created by Amber. The Amber Collection is limited to five personally photographed elopements per year worldwide.

Fanal combines three accompanied photography days with four independent self-drive days. Amber creates the complete itinerary. Six accommodation nights, a rental car for the four independent days, and the listed ceremony suppliers are included. Your photographer does not accompany or photograph the four honeymoon days. Rental conditions and driving requirements are confirmed in the proposal.

With a partner photographer, Ember is US$ 11,600, Dragon is US$ 17,600, and Fanal is US$ 24,700. With The Amber Collection, Ember is US$ 15,000, Dragon is US$ 23,000, and Fanal is US$ 32,000. These are totals for two people, in USD, for one, three, and seven days respectively. Payment plans are available.
