It’s a truly special experience, without the pressure of renting a ballroom, inviting hundreds of friends and family, and choosing complicated decorations. Instead, the focus is on you and your partner, as it should be on your special day.

I’m also an experienced travel planner and have helped couples plan their adventure elopements in more than 43 countries. I’ve had many adventures of my own, including hiking to the top of the Swiss Alps, visiting meadows in Sweden, and exploring the beautiful lakes of New Zealand. But in my opinion, Greenland is still the best destination for an elopement.

Unfortunately, as a photographer, I can’t be flexible with dates due to weather considerations. However, I am a go-with-the-flow type of person and I encourage you to have a similar mindset. Your wedding shouldn’t depend on having a sunset in the background – it’s all about the connection between you and your partner and being present in the moment. And to be honest, I actually love the rain – it can create some amazing photos!

I can do both!! The Greenland sky is absolutely magical when there are no clouds, so it’s the perfect opportunity to take night-time photos (and who knows, maybe we’ll have some northern lights!)

Yes, definitely! You’ll receive a comprehensive guide to help with this, along with customized guidance tailored to your specific needs. I understand that this aspect of the elopement can be overwhelming, which is why I try to take some of the burden off you so you can focus on the enjoyable parts of the trip.

Many of the couples I work with prefer an intimate, “just us” affair with no guests, but I fully support inviting your family and close friends if that’s important to you. My associates can accommodate up to 20 of your guests.

I believe that a photographer’s talent is more important than their equipment, but having the right tools does make a difference. That’s why I use state-of-the-art equipment, including specialized lenses, 2 Nikon D800 bodies, and a Mavic Air 2 drone to get some amazing perspectives.

The legal requirements for getting married vary depending on the location. Some places have more relaxed procedures, while others have more restrictions. If you don’t want to deal with the legal aspects of marriage outside of your home country, the easiest solution is to handle the necessary paperwork at home. Remember, the most important part of a marriage is the vow exchange between you and your loved one on a day you’ll never forget. Don’t stress too much about the paperwork itself.

Yes, I enjoy this aspect of my job. I spend many hours searching for secluded locations, scouring Google Maps, and researching hidden gems. In fact, many couples I work with don’t have a specific location in mind when they contact me. When you hire me, I’ll be happy to provide you with my exclusive list of information and help you choose the best spot that’s right for both of you.

Yes, I’m experienced in planning adventure elopements and also enjoy planning my own adventures in new countries. I use tools like Google Earth and travel guides to help me find the perfect location for your special day. I’m also connected to a network of global wedding vendors, so I can assist you in finding professionals like hair and makeup stylists, officiants, and accommodations, as well as any other services you may need. I’ve successfully planned hundreds remote weddings and am confident in my ability to create a ceremony in a new location that’s just as special as a place I’ve been to before.

Covid is still a concern, but I do everything I can to ensure that the photo portion of the ceremony isn’t a source of stress. While deposits are generally non-refundable, I understand that some circumstances may not be ideal and am willing to work with you to find a solution that allows you to have your special day. With advances in vaccines and other measures, I’m confident we can find an arrangement that works for everyone.

My pricing and travel schedule are constantly changing, so I typically don’t book elopements and weddings more than 18 months in advance. I tend to book events in the 2-12 month timeframe and leave some availability for last-minute bookings as well. So if you’re looking to elope in the next few weeks, don’t hesitate to reach out – there may be an opening for you.

The exact number varies based on the duration and type of session, but larger ceremonies typically result in 400-800 pictures and just us elopements usually yield 200-400 photos. Couples-only sessions tend to produce around 100 pictures. I prioritize quality over quantity and aim to create the best possible wedding photos that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Your pictures will be available for viewing in an online gallery, where you can purchase professional prints, frames, and announcements using my affiliate labs.
