What this is

All-inclusive elopement packages in Costa Rica

Starting from
US$ 11,300

You didn’t want a ballroom and a seating chart. You wanted a waterfall. A canopy trail at sunrise. Rain on giant leaves. That electric hush right before the jungle wakes up.

Costa Rica is the kind of place that makes you feel something before you’ve even gotten your bearings. There’s no shortage of wild. What’s harder to find is someone who knows exactly where to take you, and how to build a day that doesn’t feel like a tour.

That’s what I do. I’ve been designing elopements in remote places for 13 years. I find the spots, build your timeline, handle every moving piece, and photograph it all. On the day, I drive, I guide, I adapt. You don’t have to research a single thing.

You just show up.

Zero guesswork on your end

Everything that would have kept you up at night is already sorted

This isn’t a photography booking with some location tips thrown in. It’s a fully guided experience from first email to final gallery delivery.

01
Location scouting

I put together a curated selection of spots that match your vision. No Pinterest rabbit holes. No “I found this on TripAdvisor” surprises. Places I know, vetted and chosen for you.

02
Timeline and logistics

I build your day around real light, real weather patterns, and how people actually move through a place. No rigid five-minute slots. A flow that breathes.

03
On-the-ground guiding

I drive. I navigate. I handle the detours. If a trail is flooded or the light shifts unexpectedly, I adjust. You stay present. That’s the whole point.

04
Award-winning photography

250+ international awards. Recognized by WPJA, Wedaward, and Wedisson. Featured by Cosmopolitan and Junebug Weddings. Every moment captured with intention, not just coverage.

05
Weather adaptability

Costa Rica has opinions about weather. So do I. If it rains, we use it. If it storms, we move. You’ll never be stuck with a plan that doesn’t work.

06
Support from start to finish

From the moment you book until your gallery lands in your inbox, you’re not chasing anyone. I’m responsive, organized, and I’ve done this across 24 countries.

How it actually goes

Not a photoshoot.
A day that was genuinely yours.

  • We meet, get in the car, and start heading somewhere worth going.
  • There’s music. There are unplanned stops. Sometimes a coffee somewhere with no Wi-Fi.
  • You walk into a place that wasn’t on any Instagram location tag, and you understand why I chose it.
  • You get married there. No audience. No pressure to perform anything for anyone.
  • We keep moving. More jungle, more light, more moments that don’t feel staged.
  • It rains at some point. We use it. Costa Rica rain is not a problem. It’s a backdrop.
  • You go to bed knowing you did it exactly the way you wanted.

Good questions

Things people usually ask about eloping in Costa Rica

How far in advance do I need to book?
I typically book 6 to 18 months out, but I’ve planned elopements with as little as 7 days notice. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out as soon as possible. The earlier we talk, the more options we have.
Do you find spots that aren’t on every travel blog?
That’s the whole point. I don’t bring you to the spots that show up in the first three Google results. I find the places most visitors walk right past, or never reach at all. Part of what I do is location research that goes well beyond the obvious.
What happens if it rains?
It will probably rain at some point. Costa Rica has a wet season covering roughly half the year, and even in the dry season, afternoon showers are common. I plan around it, adapt on the day, and honestly, some of the most striking images come from shooting in or just after rain. It’s not a problem. It’s part of the place.
How many photos will we receive?
For a 1-day package, expect roughly 200 to 400 fully edited images. For 2 and 3-day packages, typically 400 to 800+. The focus is always quality and genuine moments, not volume for its own sake.
Do you handle the legal side of getting married in Costa Rica?
Legal marriage in Costa Rica involves specific documentation and a licensed officiant. I can connect you with the right people and guide you through what you need. For a full breakdown, read my guide on how to elope in Costa Rica.
Are there fees not included in the package price?
No. My travel costs, transportation, and planning fees are all included. You’re responsible for your own flights, accommodation, and personal expenses. Vendor services are a separate known add-on of US$3,900. No surprises.
We’re not photogenic. Should we still do this?
I hear this constantly and it’s never once been true. I don’t pose and click. I guide you into movement, give you things to do and react to, and stay out of the way when something real is happening. The photos you’ll get are of you, actually there, actually feeling it. That’s what makes them good.
What’s the first step if we want to book?
Reach out. We’ll have a short video call, see if we’re a good fit, and go from there. No pressure, no hard sell. Just a conversation to figure out if this makes sense for both of us.

  • Amber made everything possible for us.

Amber is absolutely amazing. I had been engaged for over a year before I reached out to Amber. I was having an hard time pushing myself to plan a 2 week trip for my ceremony. I knew I wanted photos on mountains and I knew I wanted to explore beautiful locations, but I had never traveled outside the US. Amber made everything possible for us. I found her on Instagram and when I reached out to her, she immediately made me feel at ease. She was a perfect solution for me because she planned out 7 days of our trip, including 3 days of photography, our ceremony, our accommodations, our meals, our activities, and our travel. Everything turned out perfectly. My photos and ceremony came out exactly how I wanted. And she was always able to be reached if we had any questions. I can’t thank her enough for everything.
