Hello, my name is Amber! I am going to be your guide and photographer. I love adventure and nature; I am a self-declared introvert.

One of my favorite things is capturing elopement for kind and lovely souls like you and many others. It is a hugely satisfying experience where you do not have to hire large ballroom spaces, entertain a multitude of guests (100+), or worry about the appearance of the decorations in the room. Instead, I have the precious opportunity to spend time with two souls who love each other and look for the most attractive and serene environment to create cherished memories.

In addition, I am a professional travel planner and have worked with many kind and loving couples across 43 countries worldwide. I have enjoyed other experiences like climbing the Swiss Alps and visiting New Zealand’s crystal clear lakes and Sweden’s meadows. I have been in photography for years; I have encountered and learned to work with many unique personality types.

I have learned to be flexible to accommodate various people; my approach to taking pictures is very non-intrusive and allows me to work with couples with different comfort levels. My main objective is to keep the couple wholly engaged with one another and enjoy every minute of their elopement expedition. My experience allows me to accomplish this goal seamlessly.

This is an important question. Owing to the nature of my profession, I cannot guarantee dates to my clients because of the changes in the weather. On the brighter side, I belong to the breed of people who accept everything the day brings my way; I highly encourage you to adopt a similar attitude.

The most significant thing to remember is that a successful wedding does not depend on the perfect sunset – it only requires the couple to be alive in every moment and make the best out of every situation. For instance, from my perspective, I cherish rainy days because they make up for adorable pictures.

Many couples prefer to be alone and have the “just us” experience without the company of other people. However, I acknowledge that others may choose to have their loved ones with them during such a trip; for this reason, I can comfortably take care of up to 20 guests on an elopement.

I firmly believe that the equipment you use does not significantly influence photography. However, the truth is that you need the correct type of equipment. I use expert equipment such as two Nikon D800 bodies, professional lenses, and a Mavic Air 2 drone to capture the best images of the couple.

Usually, the legal framework for marriage varies depending on your location. In some regions, marriage law can be rather complicated, and a bit lax in other areas. In my experience, completing all paperwork and legal processes at home is the best way to avoid being entangled in marriage legalities in other states outside your home state. It is worth noting that it is just paper documents that have nothing to do with the marriage or a suitable wedding experience; there is no need to worry over the little matters.

YES. As a professional, this is what I love doing. I spend most of my time discovering new places, searching on google maps, and researching attractive and untouched locations. Many of the couples I have worked with did not have an exact location in mind when they called to express interest in eloping in Tasmania. After booking with me, I will readily share all the location information I have gathered to enable you select the ideal spot and story for you two.

YES. As a professional travel planner, I have planned many tours to new places and nations for many years. I rely on tools and resources like google earth, travel guidebooks, and plenty of online research to locate a suitable site for the adventure you want.

In addition, I am part of a network of global wedding vendors, which puts me in the right place to assist you in sourcing the best hair and makeup artists, officiants, flowers, and other wedding vendors you may require. I have organized plenty of weddings globally, and I am sure I can help you plan the perfect elopement and take amazing pictures similar to the ones I have shot many times before.

Most plans are never assured, especially now that the world is recovering from the COVID pandemic. However, I am always committed to ensuring the photography is appropriately handled.

Generally, deposits are non-refundable. However, my main goal is to be completely flexible to arrive at a win-win scenario where my clients end up having a fantastic elopement day.

After a year of dealing with COVID-related issues, I am sure we can work out something that benefits all parties, even when we have to reschedule, restructure, or utilize the deposit for a portrait session or a similar solution.

My travel schedule and pricing structure are continually changing, making it impossible to book weddings and elopements beyond 18 months. Usually, I book elopements between 2 and 12 months out. I also allow some space in my schedule for last-minute arrangements; therefore, if you want to elope in the coming weeks, please call us today and let us talk and plan the perfect adventure together.

The number of pictures depends on the time and session. However, huge weddings receive between 400 and 800 photographs, and elopements receive between 200 and 400 photos. Sessions for couples usually receive about 100 pictures. My main focus and objective are to deliver quality instead of quantity to make it one of the best days of your life.

I will deliver your pictures via an online gallery and offer you the option to buy professional quality prints, announcements, and frames via my partnered labs. I try out my prints and colors on my lab’s printers to ensure your pictures print perfectly and pleasingly.

In addition, I also provide archival heirloom albums. You select your preferred pictures, and I design the ideal layout. I encourage you to email me the exact details of the albums! In addition, you do not have to print through me if you can use your local lab; the rights to print the photos are yours alone.
