Hello there, I’m Amber. Your guide and photographer. I’m a nature lover, adventurer, and a self-confessed introvert.

My absolutely favorite thing in this world is capturing happy moments for gentle souls like you. It’s the complete experience, without the pressure of entertaining 100+ guests, hiring a huge ballroom, and finicking with elaborate decorations. The focus here is on you and your favorite person, and your soulful love for each other.

I’m a trained travel planner with extensive experience helping gentle soul couples like you plan an elopement adventure across 43 countries. While I’ve hiked to the top of the Swiss Alps, across Sweden’s meadows, and to New Zealand’s crystal-clear lakes, Morocco remains to be one of the most pristine locations.

Generally, here’s how it works. We first head to the ceremony location on the first day and capture epic engagement photos. We’’ then capture the full elopement day on the second day. The third day will entail taking post-wedding photos in your preferred wedding attire. This will be perfect if you want to have photos in your wedding attire in different locations and moments when eloping in Morocco.

From my experience, almost every couple is concerned about this. By now, you’ve likely seen my work, and you’ll notice that not a single couple looks awkward. I’ve photographed couples for years and I’ve experienced nearly all personality types. I’m very adaptable and I can work with different levels of comfort. You can be sure that not a single shot will look like a deer in headlights with awkward smiles.

I always take a non-invasive approach when shooting. My goal is to keep both of you engaged with each other and be present in the beautiful moments of your elopement. I’m an expert at this, and you can rest assured you’re in safe hands.

This is actually a good question. Given the nature of my job, I can’t be flexible with dates due to the weather. Still, I’m of the breed of people who are happy to embrace whatever weather the day throws at us, and my advice is to encourage you to do the same. After all, the success of your wedding won’t depend on getting the perfect sunset – it’s all about you being in the moment and living large. Plus, I love rain – it can make for some pretty killer shots.

Yes! If your epic location is under a star-spilled sky, I’ll be more than happy to! Spoiler alert: Moroccan wilderness calls for some magical night shots.

Most couples are usually looking for the “just us” experience without involving guests. However, I truly support having your close friends or family with you if it’s important to you. As a guideline, a take on elopements with up to 20 guests.

Before I answer this, let’s get this out of the way: equipment doesn’t make the photography. However, we all know that it’s still particularly important. This is why I use professional equipment like 2 Nikon D800s, a Mavic Air 2 drone for some cool perspectives, and professional lenses.

Well, there are different legal guidelines and procedures when you marry in a different location. Most are not such big of a deal, but some can get a bit confusing. For people who want to completely avoid navigating the legalities of marrying outside their home country, I feel the easiest option is to deal with the paperwork at home. paperwork is just paperwork, nothing more than that. I believe a marriage isn’t valid until you’ve read your vows on the day you choose. So, don’t stress the little stuff.

Yes. This is actually one of the things I like most about my job. I like spending hours scouring google maps, exploring hidden places, and doing more research on secluded yet amazing spots. A lot of couples I’ve worked with actually didn’t have a destination picked out yet when they reached out. But when you book with me, I will be happy to share all the information I have and work with you to choose a spot that’s perfect for you and your person.

Yes. I’m an avid traveler and I’m constantly planning my travels to new countries and places. I leverage tools like guidebooks, google earth, and scour tons of online material to help find a place that will be perfectly suited for your adventurous day. I’m also an active member of a few worldwide networks for wedding vendors, and I can help you find amazing officiants, flower vendors, and great hair and makeup artists. Since I’ve been planning weddings from afar for years, I’m confident in my abilities to plan your elopement in a new destination that should be just as amazing as places I’ve shot lots of times before.

Everything might seem so up in the air now, but I try my level best to ensure photography is the one thing that won’t cause you additional stress. Generally, deposits are non-refundable, but I do my best to stay flexible and work out a win-win scenario such that you will still have your beautiful elopement day.

I’ve had a year’s worth of experience handling COVID-related issues, and I know we can come up with solutions that work for everyone, whether it means restructuring, rescheduling, or putting your deposits towards a portrait photography session – or something in between.

Since my travel schedule and pricing are constantly changing, I usually don’t book elopements more than 18 months out. I usually book elopements anywhere from 2 to 12 months out. I still leave room for last-minute elopements too, so if you’re planning to elope in the coming weeks, you should definitely reach out. I might just have the space for you.

This will vary based on the time and schedule. However, larger weddings will have anywhere between 400 and 800 photos, while elopements have between 150 and 400 photos. Couple sessions are usually around 100. I take quality very seriously and I aim to deliver the most perfect photos from your day.

I do deliver your photos in an online gallery, from where you have an option of purchasing professional quality prints, frames, and announcements through my partnered labs. I test all my prints and colors to ensure your photos will print out beautifully and accurately. I also offer my clients archival heirloom albums. You only need to pick your favorite photos and I’ll create a layout for you. Feel free to send me an email to learn more about this.

You don’t have to print the photos through me. If you have a local lab that you like, there’s no problem going to them.
