When to Elope in Denmark
Denmark’s weather is temperate, without major fluctuations throughout the day. Summer is the best time to visit, though other seasons may offer less crowding!
WINTER
Winters in Denmark are chilly, dipping down to just above freezing. The days are shorter, and if you elope in winter you will need to pack warm clothes! However, winter offers more opportunities to spot the northern lights in Denmark.
SPRING
By spring, temperatures rise to an average of 50 degrees F (10 degrees C) during the day, making spring a much warmer time to elope to Denmark. Spring is one of the driest seasons, and much less popular than summer.
SUMMER
Summers in Denmark rarely get too hot, and temperatures are usually around 70 degrees F (22 degrees C). Summer is the perfect time to elope on the beaches of Denmark, and to enjoy the outdoor dining and breweries that the country has to offer.
FALL
Temperatures drop quickly in the fall, and it rains often. If you elope to Denmark in the fall, be sure to pack some waterproof boots and a rain jacket!
