All of this is already carried for you.

Hey! I’m Amber, a Provence-based elopement planner and photographer.
I grew up here and I still live here. This isn’t a destination I drop into, it’s my actual life. My daughter goes to school here, this is where I come back to, where I breathe, where I know every damn corner that matters.
My dad was a forest ranger, so I didn’t grow up in postcard Provence. I grew up getting lost in forests, finding villages no one talks about, taking roads that look like a bad idea and usually aren’t.
I’ve spent years traveling the world shooting elopements, but this is where I know things for real.
Not the obvious spots. Not the crowded bullshit.
The places you only find if you actually belong here.

I am a Qualified European Photographer with hundreds of international awards and years of experience designing elopements in remote landscapes worldwide.

This is where things open up. We’re not rushing in and out of a location. We have time to move, to follow the light, to adjust if needed, and to let the day unfold naturally.

  • We felt at ease the entire day!

Amber is an incredible person, photographer, and elopement planner. My husband and I dreamed of an elopement in Provence, but we didn’t even know where to begin. After our first call with Amber, our dream started to become a reality. She provided ideas, guidance, and inspiration as we had never traveled to France previously. Our wedding day was laid back as Amber took us to beautiful spots and captured stunning moments. We felt at ease the entire day, while actually enjoying ourselves and the surroundings. Our album was edited and ready by the time we even returned home. With love from Canada,

In this guide, you’ll learn the legalities, where to elope, what to expect, what kind of activites you can plan on your elopement day, and everything else to make your journey as smooth as possible!

Common questions about eloping in the South of France

No, France requires a 30–40 day residency to legally marry here. But most of my couples take care of the paperwork at home and come here for the real celebration.

Absolutely. While each South of France elopement is 100% custom, I can send you a few ideas to inspire your journey.

Anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 months before your date is perfect. Last-minute escapes are welcome.

None. Everything is transparent, with no surprise charges later.

No venues. No chains. Every elopement is handcrafted from the ground up, using local, trusted artisans and secret locations only known to those who live here.

Yes! I offer travel support, accommodation suggestions, and maps to help make your trip smooth and magical.

Actually yes! As I live in the area, I won’t give your elopement to one of my trusted partners. The prices I offer are super custom to local elopements.

Avoid visiting in winter if possible. The Mistral wind brings a biting cold, the trees are bare and unappealing, and the narrow village streets can feel especially chilly when the wind picks up. May and September are fantastic times to visit! Summer can also be enjoyable, but be prepared for intense heat (temperatures often reach 100–110°F), though the dry climate makes it a bit more bearable. You can discover all the tips on my guide.

You have a LOT of options! Tranquil village streets, mountaintops, forests, old chapels, lavender fields (end of June), on the beach, in old ruins…the possibilities are truly endless and I’m here to bring your vision to life!

Yes, absolutely—and it’s magical! The best time for a lavender field elopement in Provence is from late June to mid-July, when the blooms are at their most vibrant. If you’re dreaming of a slightly later date, higher-altitude fields (like in Sault) can still be in bloom through the end of July. I know some gorgeous, off-the-beaten-path fields (exit Valensole!) that are perfect for a private, unforgettable ceremony.
