Paule & Vincent contacted me just a few months before their big day, as they were looking for a wedding photographer in Switzerland to capture their winter wedding. But planning a wedding in the French Alps can be overwhelming sometimes, especially when you don’t live there.

However, Paule and Vincent managed perfectly to plan one of the most beautiful winter weddings I’ve had the chance of capturing so far, and it was such a pleasure to be with them that day!

We started the festivites in the Friday evening, when the couple got officially married at the town hall in the company of their dearest friends and family members. Then, the day after, they had a beautiful ceremony in the 12th century church of La Clusaz, in the French Alps. And even if their winter wedding date was mid-december, there was snow everywhere! It was absolutely beautiful, and the Christmas decorations definitely added something special to this already beautiful mood.

After a very emotional ceremony in the town’s church, we headed to a lake in the middle of the mountains to enjoy so quiet couple time with a beautiful view. The frozen lake down the valley was of a beautiful blue shade, and the clouds above us slowly took a purple hue as the sun went down. It was definitely magical. As we headed down to the town, the newlyweds were chatting and I could hear their emotions filling the car. They were so in love, and in synch with each other!

We finished the day in a Alpine chalet on the slopes of La Clusaz, Le Chalet des Praz, (perfect for a winter wedding for sure!) and we ate some delicious food (my god try the deep fried camembert!) and parties all night long!! We even managed to catch a beautiful night photo while the moon was litting us.

I’ll let you discover this incredible day.

      Hello Amber,

We have finally discovered our complete gallery and it is absolutely magnificent!
Your photos are sublime, you were able to capture very emotional moments for us and our entourage. These photos are the memory of this day that we will always remember and what a joy to have such a beautiful “trace” of this moment. We will be happy and proud to share these photos with our family and relive our marriage through these images.

We had a lot of fun and had a lot of emotions discovering the gallery. We did it in several stages: first the civilian then the religious ceremonies in our van in New Zealand then we waited this weekend to have a big screen to discover the rest. Multiplied pleasure, and which will continue to be multiplied each time we watch them! Thank you so much for this great work, we are so happy !!

I also thank you once again for your kindness and gentleness during these two days. Your presence was soothing and we really enjoyed the photo session with you, it was a bit of a parenthesis during this day when we met, we both loved this moment (and the light was super beautiful, the photos are superb !!).
