What they have to say about their adventure

Highly recommend Amber if you are thinking of eloping! My husband and I had discussed doing a small intimate ceremony abroad, as the stress of planning a destination wedding was really looming over us. We started looking into planning an elopement and came across Amber. She took the time to explain how it would all run and locations in mind for planning. The planning process was very smooth, her recommendations were great and made it all seem easy!

We were very excited in the lead up to the big day and really had such a lovely time with Amber. Our helicopter ride was so much fun and we are so glad we did that! The day began perfectly, and despite the clouds rolling in later in the day, the overall experience and time we had, we couldn’t be happier – it really felt magical! The photos turned out beautifully and Amber is really a so talented! Thank you!

Reflections on the day

As I stood on the mountaintop in Zermatt, Switzerland, watching the newlyweds exchange their vows against the backdrop of snowy peaks and crystal clear skies, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and gratitude. Being able to capture such intimate and breathtaking moments is truly a privilege, and it’s moments like these that remind me of why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

The journey to this elopement was nothing short of magical. From the exhilarating helicopter ride to the mountaintop, to the heartfelt ceremony in one of the most iconic places in Zermatt, every moment was filled with adventure and joy. It was a day filled with laughter, tears, and overwhelming love – and being able to document it all was an experience I will never forget.

Reflecting on my personal growth as a photographer, I realize how far I have come since the early days of shooting weddings and events. I have learned to trust my instincts, to let go of perfectionism, and to embrace the beauty of imperfection. I have honed my skills in capturing raw emotion and telling a story through my lens. And most importantly, I have learned to be present in the moment, to appreciate the little things, and to always approach my work with a sense of wonder and curiosity.

As I continue on this journey as a photographer, I am grateful for the opportunities that come my way – from intimate elopements to grand celebrations, each experience teaches me something new and pushes me to grow and evolve. And while the road ahead may be filled with challenges and uncertainties, I am excited to see where it leads me next.

So here’s to more adventures, more laughter, and more love captured through my lens. And here’s to the brave couples who trust me to document their most precious moments – I am forever grateful for your trust and your love. Let’s continue creating magic together, one beautiful moment at a time.

Behind the scenes of their Zermatt elopement

A short anecdote: At the mountain’s peak, Robbie popped a bottle of champagne—one his mother had gifted him before she passed. He poured a sip into the wind, then took one himself, Shrene following. A quiet toast, a promise kept. In that moment, she was there.
