A 2-day adventure elopement in the Meteora
Itinerary of their Meteora elopement
Due to Leave No Trace policy, the exact location names have to stay undisclosed
Day 1 – elopement day
11.30am: your hairdresser, will meet you at your airbnb
12.00-2.15pm: getting ready in your accommodation (I’ll meet you at 12)
2.15-2.30pm: first look around or in your accommodation
We’ll leave your accommodation, don’t forget to take with you a blanket, glasses, plates, a bottle opener and cutlery for the picnic!
2.30-2.35pm: drive to the grocery store to pick up cheeses, cold cuts, bread and wine
2.35-2.45pm: grocery shopping
2.45-3.00pm: drive to the forest viewpoint
3.00-3.45pm: couple photos at the forest viewpoint and the forest below
3.45-4.00pm: drive to sunset rock
4.00-4.30pm: couple photos at sunset rock
4.30-5.00pm: picnic (will allow us to block the best spot for sunset at well 🙂 )
5.00-5.30pm: ceremony at sunset
5.30pm: sunset + first dance
5.45-6.00pm: end of couple photos at blue hour, back to the town of Kalambaka
6.00-7.00pm: break
7.00-8.45pm: dinner (atmospheric photoshoot)
8.45-9.00pm: drive up to sunset rock
9.00-10.00pm: night photoshoot overlooking the valley
Day 2
6.30am: meeting back at your accommodation
6.30-6.45am: driving up to sunrise rock viewpoint
6.45-7.30m: sunrise photoshoot
7.30-7.45am: drive up to the last viewpoint
7.45-8.00am: walking up to the viewpoint
8.00-8.45am: photoshoot at the second viewpoint
8.45-9.00am: driving to another viewpoint
9.00-9.15am: short photoshoot
9.15-9.30am: driving back to the hotel
9.30am: end of our adventure together

We had always dreamed of eloping somewhere magical, but the idea of planning it felt overwhelming—especially when we stumbled upon the breathtaking landscapes of Meteora. We didn’t know where to start or how to make such a big moment feel truly ours. But the moment we reached out to Amber, everything changed.

Reflections on the day
As the sun began to rise over the majestic Meteora in Greece, a sense of excitement filled the air. Josee and Ryan were getting ready in their cozy Airbnb, sipping on local coffee and enjoying the stunning view outside their window. They were about to embark on an epic elopement adventure in one of the most breathtaking destinations in Greece.
After getting ready, they headed out to the local market to pick up some fresh local foods for their picnic later in the day. They chatted with the friendly locals, soaking up the vibrant culture and atmosphere of the town.
Next, they made their way up to the Meteora monasteries, where they took photos at some of the most stunning viewpoints. The views were breathtaking, with the monasteries perched high up on the rocky cliffs, seemingly touching the sky.
As the day went on, they found a quiet spot on a rock with an incredible view and enjoyed a picnic, savoring the delicious local cuisine they had picked up earlier.
As the sun began to set, Josee and Ryan exchanged vows in the most beautiful ceremony they could have ever imagined, with the most glorious sunset as their backdrop. It was a moment they would never forget.
Afterwards, they made their way back to town and enjoyed a delicious dinner at a local restaurant before heading out to capture some stunning Milky Way photos.
The following morning, they woke up early and headed back up to the monasteries to catch the sunrise. As the sky turned a beautiful shade of pink, they shared their first dance as a married couple, surrounded by the beauty of Meteora.
It was an adventure they would never forget, filled with love, beauty, and unforgettable memories. The perfect way to start their new life together.

On the day of their elopement, they were blessed with perfect weather—clear skies and a soft breeze. As they exchanged vows overlooking the breathtaking cliffs, it felt like the world had paused just for them, creating a moment of pure magic.
