What they have to say about their adventure
Ambre is a talented, attentive and adorable photographer. Looking at her photos is like reading a poem, they are full of love, emotions, taken in the moment, natural and so true. Thank you Ambre for these wonderful memories that we will keep forever and for accompanying us on this special day!

Reflections on the day
When Laur-Anne & Allan contacted me because they wanted to elope in Iceland, I was absolutely thrilled to help them find the perfect spot to exchange their vows and start their married life together. We went back and forth by email, chatting about possible locations, Airbnb rentals and general advice, and a few months after, we met in person to watch the Northern Lights. It was a magical way to start our adventure together! The morning after, we met again in their house rental for a sunrise first look. Laur-Anne was absolutely thrilled that icelandic horses were here to witness the start of this beautiful day. Then we headed to their ceremony site, where we enjoyed an amazing and beautiful sky to exchange their vows. After we all cried (from happiness of course!) we headed back to our car and van and started what would end up being an absolutely epic road-trip. We stopped for pictures by glaciers, mountains, waterfalls, and we wanted to reach a last beach before sunset but when we arrived, it was too late! So we decided to just pop the champagne instead and enjoy the last rays of sun from a beautiful viewpoint.
Behind the scenes of their black beach elopement
A short anecdote: On their elopement day, we immersed ourselves in capturing the beauty of Iceland’s diverse landscapes, taking extra time at various stops along the road. As a result, we arrived at Stokknes after sunset. Instead of sticking to the original plan, we embraced the spontaneity of the moment and simply pulled over for night photos. Bathed in the soft glow of the headlights against the darkened sky, the couple’s photos turned out uniquely stunning—showcasing a different, more intimate side of Iceland’s enchanting nighttime scenery.
